Create in-person gatherings that build genuine community and sustainable business growth.
Whether you're a health and wellness practitioner, solopreneur, founder, or creator, we'll co-design events people actually show up for. Leveraging events as a way to build long-term clients, brand sponsor relationships, and profitable business opportunities.
It started with a love for gathering and connecting people.
I didn't start hosting events to sell a service. I started the Toronto Café Walk and Toronto TCM Walk series because I wanted them to exist. Somewhere along the way, people began assuming I'd been doing events for ages and asking how I do it. This work grew out of that and I'm sharing it with people who could use my knowledge, experience, and expertise for good.
I truly believe in-person events are how we build relationships, connection, and core memories with one another, especially now in an AI era where so much of life happens on a screen. They're how we build a modern-day village: people you can rely on, people you can call, people you make new memories with, and maybe even your soul family.
What keeps me going isn't the size of the crowd. It's the depth. Friendships that continue after the walk, with dinners, swims, and cafés visited together. One person described the walks as a casual friend hangout, like having dinner at home with a few close friends. That's the feeling I want you to be able to create, in your own way, for your own people.
I also know what it takes: the curating, the collaborators, the sponsors, the intentional event flow, and the quiet experiments. I'm still figuring parts of it out as I go and I'll share what I've learned honestly. If you want to build something genuine from the grassroots up, I'd be glad to support you on your journey.
I built these events because I believe in them.
The first two event series began because I wanted them to exist and every lesson below comes from running them consistently: what fills a room, what sponsors care about, and what quietly burns you out.
Toronto Café Walk
A walking series through hidden-gem cafés in small groups of ~10 founders, solopreneurs, creatives, and working professionals. It grew from an idea in late April 2026 into 260+ attendees and collaborations with local communities and creators. Lesson: small, curated, and cross-community events create a tight bond between attendees who then become regulars.
About the Café WalkToronto TCM Walk
An educational series with a TCM doctor at a local cozy venue and a Chinatown herbal store visit. Herbal tea tasting experiences to provide people with a healthy coffee alternative that they can incorporate into their daily routine. Lesson: partnership structure, origination rights, and a clear bridge from attendee to client matter from day one.
About the TCM WalkCSI Climate Coffee
Securing brand sponsors for the Centre for Social Innovation's climate coffee event series. It requires translating community value into partnerships that sustainable and mission-aligned brands want to be part of. Lesson: keeping an eye on brands' social media and reaching out at the right moment can increase sponsorship approval rate.
Small community. Outsized reverberation.
I'm not a corporate event planner. I don't do ballrooms and run-of-show spreadsheets. I do the part that makes people care: grassroots gatherings with real connection at the center. Corporate teams curious about this approach are welcome too.
Genuine organic brand building
I built my name in Toronto in about two months through community events people wanted to talk about and share with their family and friends, not ads.
Marketing everywhere
I promote my events across 20+ places. LinkedIn, Instagram, Substack, Luma, community channels, and more working togethe lifts credibility and searchability at the same time.
Collaborators who amplify
Partners chosen to deepen each series' theme so every collaboration intentionally brings new audiences and a richer experience.
Events that continuously sell out
With 500+ Luma subscribers plus followers from other social platforms who arrived because of my events, the impact is far bigger than the list size suggests.
Community events in action.
Small groups, slow walks, and genuine conversations. This is what the rooms feel like.
Key components of a flowing event ecosystem.
Event strategy
Concept, format, audience, pricing, and cadence. Know what you're hosting, for whom, and what it should lead to.
Events marketing
Positioning, registration copy, and launch plans across LinkedIn, Instagram, Substack, Luma, and community channels, plus a rescue plan for events stuck at zero.
Community building
Vetting, collaborations, and a "modern village" model that connects member bases instead of competing for them.
Sponsorship outreach
A prospect list, an email pitch outline, and outreach templates framed as long-term partnerships vs. one-off asks.
Brand relationship management
Follow-up, reporting, renewals, and keeping partners warm so year one becomes year three.
Event-to-client bridge
Design the next step so community goodwill turns into clients, offers, or referrals without feeling salesy.
Choose your role.
Fill your room with the right people
Workshops, tastings, and talks that build trust and lead to booked appointments, not just applause.
- Event formats that fit a clinical or practitioner practice
- Collaboration structures with other practitioners and local brands
- A clear path from attendee to patient or client
Events without the burnout
A lean, repeatable gathering that fits one person's capacity and brings in aligned clients.
- One signature event series designed to run on repeat
- Co-hosting to share the audience and the workload
- Pricing and free-versus-paid decisions made on purpose
Community as a growth engine
Founder dinners, launches, and communities that create human connection before the pitch.
- Vetting and curation so the room stays high-trust
- Sponsor and partner strategy that offsets costs
- Event metrics that matter to your pipeline
Turn an audience into a gathering
Take online attention offline, then make it pay through partners, offers, and memberships.
- Concepts that translate your content into live experiences
- Sponsor media-kit and outreach templates
- Brand partnerships that feel like you
Listen first.
Then build.
Listen. We start with your goals, energy, audience, and what's already working, before prescribing anything.
Map. I find the structural problem beneath the symptom: price, positioning, format, or the missing bridge.
Build. Event concept, marketing plan, sponsor list, and templates, simple enough to implement right away.
Circulate. Follow-up, partner care, and iteration, because community works through circulation, not accumulation.
How I think about
sponsorship.
Sponsorship isn't a one-off ask. It's the start of a relationship. I've brought brands into my own community events and into CSI's event series by starting with alignment, being clear about what each side gives, and treating every sponsor like a long-term partner. I can help you do the same.
Brands I've partnered with across my community events and CSI's events:
What you'll get from me
Sponsor-fit prospecting
A targeted list of brands that genuinely align with your audience and values, not a blast list.
The pitch and outreach
Positioning, an email pitch outline, and outreach templates that lead with the relationship, plus guidance on following up.
A clear partnership offer
What sponsors give and receive, framed so a first yes can grow into a longer-term partnership.
Brand relationship management
Keeping sponsors warm, reporting back, and renewing, so partners return event after event.
